Selling at the counter

How to make a sale at the front desk: pick products and sizes, who it's for, the discount, how much they pay now, and the monthly summary with margin.

The Counter is for selling at the front desk, with someone standing there waiting: tap the products, choose who it's for and how much they pay, and you're done. Stock goes down automatically and the customer gets a confirmation on WhatsApp.

Making a sale

  1. Tap the product cards. Search by name or SKU, or filter by category at the top.
  2. If the product has sizes, the card opens so you can pick the size. Sizes that are out of stock can't be selected.
  3. On the right, in Sale, adjust the quantity or price of each line if needed.
  4. Choose who it's for: search for the student, or type the name and phone number of someone from outside.
  5. If it applies, add a Discount (percentage or amount).
  6. In Paying now, enter what they pay on the spot and how (0 if they'll owe it). If they hand over more than the total, the total is recorded.
  7. Add a note if needed (size, details: it goes in the WhatsApp message) and tap Sell.
A sale can be left with a balance: people leave a deposit and pay the rest on pickup. What's still owed shows up in Outstanding on sales, and you collect it from the Sales tab.

Sales

The Sales tab has every sale, with what's been paid and the balance. From there you take payment for the balance, hand over the order (it lets them know on WhatsApp that their order is ready), edit it or void it (the stock goes back). With Only unpaid ones you see the ones with a balance, and with Online shop only, the orders from the online shop.

This month

To the right of the counter, This month shows what the shop has collected, by currency. Anyone who can edit the shop also sees what was sold with discounts, the cost, the profit and the margin, with a breakdown by product. The cost is what the product cost on the day of the sale.
